TAUNTON – Paul L. Morse, 66, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, in Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Grafton, NY, the son of the late Leonard and Gladys (Enos) Morse, he was educated in NY schools and had been a resident of the Taunton and Mansfield area since his teenage years.
For over thirty years he was a truck driver/operator for Curly Masonry Company of Mansfield. He was a avid drag racing driver. He enjoyed bowling, wrestling, golf, carpentry and woodworking.
He was the father of Cynthia Morse of Townsend, MA, Amanda Morse of Taunton, and Angela Van Laarhouen and her husband Barry of Taunton. He was the long time loving companion of Judith O'Gara of Taunton and her children, Colleen, Sean, Sue, Ed, James, Margaret and Mary. He was the brother of Leonard Morse, Walter Morse and Gloria Lopresto, all of Mississippi, Peter Morse of Mansfield, and the late Tracey Morse. Paul was the grandfather of Silas and Grace Van Laarhouen of Taunton and was known as " Papa" to all of his and the O'Gara grandchildren, all seventeen of them. He was also the uncle of several.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM, prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Taunton, on Thursday, April 24, at 10:00AM.
